Some Exciting News!!

Just couldn't wait to tell you guys!! We are FINALLY remodeling & adding on to a house across the field from where we live now!! I cannot wait!! We met with the contractor Friday & he said they could start framing it up w/in the next MONTH!!! and we would probably have the basement before that!!! I'm so excited!! Mom & Dad kept the kids last night (sat) so Matt & I could go to bloomington house shopping. We purchased all of our outdoor lights. We've been going over there almost every night trying to do a little something and since it's just right here it's not that hard to run over for a little bit. Yesterday I pushed mowed!! Man, thought i was gonna pass out... It took me like 3-4 hrs! It's an acre but hopefully i can drop some weight doing that!! i better anyways!! Matt went and got a truck load of mulch and we put some on the west side of the house and around the trees. It looks so much better. Well the kids are still at my parents so I think were going to run to Vincennes and do some more house shopping YAY!!! Have a great day!! Sheena

Lots of catching up to do!!

Seems like I think of updating this everyday but i just haven't gotten to it. So lets start with when ND went to semi-state. We went to the game they played a great game! They should be very proud!! I know we are!! We have decided to remodel & add an addition on a house across the field (Matt's Uncles house) from us. We have almost everything planned out! I'm sure lots of it will or can change but for the most part I feel that it's all coming together. We are all so excited!! My kids can't wait to have their own rooms!! And i can't wait to have my bed back :) Grif doesn't have a room so he's been in our bed since he's been our of his crib!! haha!! It will take time I know... So Macey started spring break last friday on Saturday morning we left and drove to Cin. Ohio to CoCo Key Water Resort. We had so much fun & didn't want to come back!! Well I guess that's all for now!! I will keep you all updated on the house project!! He said they could possibly begin within the next month & we could have a basement before that!! YAY!!! Seems like we just can't get rid of the flu bug at our house either... Saturday several of us threw Jim & Catherine a 30th Anniversary party! It turned out wonderful & I think everyone had lots of fun!! A big thank you to all of you who helped put it together! I had to work until 6 on Friday, then I had to work on Sat. morning. After work I went to Wal Mart to pick up the cake and some other things. I was in a hurry to get up to the building and start decorating so i called and told Matt to have the kids ready and i would come pick them up. Well right before we walked out the door Grif decided to start puking everywhere!!! I felt SO sorry for him though...He starting saying party...party??? He was afraid we weren't going to be able to go. After he got cleaned up he acted fine so off we went and he's acting fine now.... I also just want you all to say a prayer for Andrea Boes & her family & friends...I have not met her personally but we have mutual friends and I have been following her story since the Relay for Life last year. She is ONE amazing woman & I have SO much respect for her...She has a husband, little boy & lots of family & wonderful friends...Lets just lift them up in prayer and just pray that God gives them the strength they need to get through this tough time!! I just want everyone to see how lucky my Aunt Ruthie & Uncle Ralph were Sunday afternoon!! Their home got destroyed and they were in there when it happened!! They are just lucky to be ALIVE!!! Keep them in your prayers as they have lost everything...We were able to get most of their clothes and pictures and pull furniture out but your house is still your house and you don't realize until something like this happens how much you can loose in just a split second!! Here are a few pics I want to share with you!

Update on Jim's Mri

Well yesterday Jim had his 2mth. MRI & Doctors appt. in indy. Eric & Jen went with them to the appt. The MRI showed that the tumor has gotten smaller!! great news...but they also found something else. It showed that he has been having or has had strokes. So the doctor wanted him to immediately start taking baby asprin & he made him an appt. to go back to indy today to run other test. They won't know the results until early next week...so we will wait agian..thats so hard to do when you want to know right now what's wrong!! So hopefully they can find out why or what's causing these strokes. So just pray that the doctors can find out what is causing this! On the other hand my Grandma Crouse who fell & broke her hip came through surgery well and was doing really good until Wed. night Thursday now she is running a fever, vomiting, and some other things. The doctor said it may be reaction to the pain meds, or be the flu. Poor Grandma! So just pray that she gets through this & recovers fast! Hope you all are doing good & I'm so ready for the weekend! Macey finally went back to school on Thursday she did good still complaining on her neck being stiff, but i think it's just sinus and all that stuff... Well have a great day! Love, Sheena

Well today wasn't too bad Griffen slept in until almost 10!! Me and Macey got to sleep in too! yay! But whenever I sleep that late I just can't get motivated!! But I started doing laundry, dishes, and all that fun stuff...Then my dad called me and said my grandma had fell and needed help. So he got ahold of my cousin Jessica and they went to her house. Long story short she is in the Daviess Com. Hospital she broke her Right Hip :( Poor thing I feel so bad for her. She is such a sweetheart!! Tonight when we went to visit with her she was so worried about getting a radio, and for you that know her she LOVES her ballgames!! Sectional is next week and i told her we would get her a radio we wouldn't let her miss her ballgames! She is going to either have surgery tomorrow or Monday. The nurses said they were pretty sure it would be Monday around 8. Just keep her in your prayers. I will keep you posted.Here are some pictures of Grandma. Thanks! Sheena

What a Day!!

Good Morning! My day hasn't started off the best, but you know it could be worse! Griffen woke up at 3:30 and has not went back to sleep!! And of course as many of you know they never want their daddy's always mommy...even though he was up w/ us... Then Macey woke up with stuffy nose and fever.... I'm so ready for spring/summer!! I think this has been one of the worst winters for kids! Me & Griffen this morning have already taken baths, made choc chip muffins, coffee and have done laundry :) I'm kind of happy that I've gotten some laundry done so that way i won't have so much to do tomorrow...Well my post was really to just remind you all that we are having a Bake Sale today at First Federal for the March of Dimes!! Come support & help prevent premature births!!! We are going to have lots of goodies!! We are open from 9am-6pm! Well hope everyone has a wonderful day!!!
